Title: Bristol Yellow Kit Car Club.
Post by: Moleman on 13, September, 2015, 06:23:55 PM
Well to quote a saying from one of the members today, "They may be Yellow but they ain't yellow when it comes to going out for a drive."  8) :P

First there was one.

Then there was two

Then half way through a cracking drive through some lovely roads, forest & countryside.
There was three

Then when we arrived at Tintern even though the car park was full the Landlord of the Anchor Inn had saved us a private free parking spaces.  8)
Then we became four

Then after a nice meal there we headed back with a little detour under the bridge

We even had a visit from South Wale Kit & specialist Club who have invited us to some of their events.
Please note the colour of his car. Must be a hard core driving colour for real car enthusiasts.  :P :P :P

I think the flag needs patching though.

It was a really good day Thanks to Ian for a really good route. There are some lovely roads out there just over the bridge & we must do it again.  8)

How many more yellow cars do we have in the club...

I tested the +1 with a small amount of positive manifold pressure and seemed to be ok with it :-)

There are at least 9 active members that I can think of. 2 building & 1 of the active members has 2 yellow cars so that make 12 that I can name straight off.

I would have really liked to have come and with how the weather turned out I'm even more jealous but I wouldn't have fitted the colour theme so probably just as well I couldn't make it. I did manage a quick blast in the GTM this afternoon though.

Not a common colour then!!?  :P hahaha! Looks like you guys had a great time.  8)

I had a thrilling day too including spending well over an hour building a set of car skates and putting a car on them. If I ever see a nut and bolt again it'll be too soon.

You're right though Colin, the roads over the otherside of that bridge are great! Apart from the one that runs parallel to the A470 near Pontypridd when you've missed the junction and had to do a detour, that one's a b*%ch!!!  :P
