My new toy, and its not a car...

Some of you may know that for my sins I used to be a pro and semi-pro musician but I eventually got fed up with traveling and late nights.

However, I recently got the urge to get my bass out again and have a play around after many years of it collecting dust.

Maybe I might do the odd gig again I thought but I needed some gear to do it with so bit the bullet today and treated myself to a new bass rig.



After putting a few cracks in the walls and shaking the house foundations, I have come to the conclusion my new rig will be fine for gigging again

Just got to get a band together now.. any other musicians in the club?

if Phill put that thing in the passenger seat of HIS car, I'm afraid my mixer would win. My mixer is very light.

However I reckon the wall smashing bass amp monster thing that Phil has just bought would crush my mixer before breakfast.

Treated myself to an Electric Guitar this Xmas. So might be able be to join you in a few years time, lol.

I used to be in a band ! - at school... I was lead singer, well shouter really. We used to do covers of Iron Maiden tracks.

Yup we were rebels with out a clue. Long greasy hair and bad taste. I think the only reason we were allowed to use the school hall at lunch times was because the head masters son was one of our guitarists.
