Just spotted a complete CBR900RR 1997 with 40k on the clock and just 2 owners.
Also has £1000's of extras.. Like exhaust and DYMAG wheels.. Up for £1800..
I'm so tempted to buy it and keep the engine and sell the rest in bits. Reckon I could get at least £1500 for the parts easliy....

But would I have the heart to break it.. Knowing me I would ride it  :P

'The Gaffer'

I recon you would just ride it ;D

Not worth the hassle if you ask me. Your engine will last forever if it's looked after well and cheap to replace when and if it go's pop.

Wise words Gaffer.. I know I could sell it for more in parts but do I want the hasle!!! A set of Dymag wheels retail at over £1200 for a pair..
We shall see what happens next week when the Fiat Stilo has its MOT. A pass with out spending money may swing the way I go.

I feel the same way about breaking perfectly good machines.  I was watching runners for ages and just choked at the thought of pulling them apart, I don't mind ripping and crash damaged bike apart but and straight R1 or blade just need to be ridden!
