As mentiond i went to Japshow at Santa Pod last weekend so i thought i'd share ,
Now the word's santa pod & sun haven't normally gone together -
but what a scorcher
That has to be the hottest japshow ever !!

What a great show so many top car's and mad motor's .
Didn't manage to get over to the handling course as was to busy watching the strip and trying to get out of the sun .

It was also my 1st time in a rwd on the strip , completly different to my previous fwd & awd car's .
1st run landed a 16.3 which was abit poor but i sliped the clutch to much on the launch and the gear changes were awful .
But with more practice i got down to a 15.1 and i think that there's more in the car just not the driver on the day .

I'm partial to the odd Jap, still got a soft spot for the R33 V Spec GTR

Colin, you should try it, it's like driving on glue. We have tried a few days at Shakespeare Raceway in the past, great fun if the weather is good - Slightest spot of rain and the shut it down.

Some nice video, Santa Pod is a great day out, nice to sit and watch the action or have a go. It's funny no matter how quick your car feels on the street out on the strip it can feel really slow. Some seriously quick cars there and BTW sounds like you had a passenger on board?
