Engine, to get or not?

Evening all,

I've got the chance of my Step son's MX6 which was a runner but has an electrical issue (flattens battery in short time - new one). I did suggest a couple of possibles but he has had it sititing on the drive for a looong time now and has decided to get rid. The body is starting to show signs of neglect and he has basically told me that I can have it and all he wants is the wheels and sound system out of it to sell.

I have been investigating possible uses for the engine such as Fischer Fury or Sylva Striker, but was wondering if anyone had heard of one being used in a Cobra lookalike?. Apparently the engine is a good strong unit (same 2.5 V6 24-valve as used in the Ford Probe).

Any ideas or feedback guys?

OK Phil, guess I did ask for that!

No way i can afford one with a V8 for a long time yet, just thought it might be an option

Its a similar engine to the one used in a Noble. Twin turbo and 350hp.
