All made and polished by hand (bloody hard going)

Dave what do you think of a westfield hyabusa, looks quite nice - on pistonheads at the moment - do you think I could get in to it - can the pedals be moved rearward at all on them

Cheers

Pete

Got a link Pete? A few Megabusa's on there.

If it were me, I'd just move the seat forward :)

Cheers Phil, moving the seats would be far to easy and with my weight it would upset the centre of balance to much ( have a think on that one )  ;) did you know that one buses they add an extra leaf in the spring on the O/S to allow for the drivers permanent weight

I did like the look of the turbo one  -but could be hard work keeping it on the road, and I dont want that, I already have enough to cope with on the Spectre

chap who is buying the GT contacted me this afternoon - he is picking it up next weekend sometime

A Megabusa is a screamer for sure. Is this the car for you? To get the most out of it you will need to work fairly hard but that would be something i personally would like. Getting a turbo busa could end up with expensive repairs, to body work if not engine... Standard Hayabusas alone are not cheap when they go wrong. But they are quick.

Maybe try driving a bike engined car before even considering this as an option. Its a personal choice. ....

Anything is moveable in kit cars so you could reach the pedals fine

The following represent good value for money to me.

Thanks Dave  I will have a look

'The Gaffer'

Its true what Dave says Pete, bike engined cars do need a bit more work, but once up on the rev's it's great fun and the soundtrack is fantastic :).

You can still use the car normally without the high rev's too, so talk about BEC's being useless with no torque on the road is boll*x

I will take you for a quick spin in mine at the meet.

Good news on the GT :)
