Title: Pawl
Post by: the tattoo studio on 28, July, 2009, 05:14:53 PM
hi guys, eventually managed to get me account set up...thanks admin :)

Well, My names Pawl, I'm a bodge artist, I'll make any thing fit anything if I put my mind to it. I'm in wrexham, and own and opperate my own tattoo studio, but i spend most of my down time in the garage making something or other.

I'm currently building a Honda Cbr1000f engined Mk1 Escort, and the getting a reverse while useing a bike engine thread got me interested in registering on this forum.

I have had many a kit in the past, I've had 2 carreras, built a locost, had 2 dutton thingies, and a marcos 3 litre back in the day.

I have 4 cars, 1 driver and 2 projects, the Mk1 ezzy, a mk4 ezzy cabriolet on a scorpio cosworth chassis, and me driver which is a 1974 Mk1 Granada Ghia coupe.

Coupe is running a 3.9 rover v8, via home made gear box, comprising of an auto ballhousing, mitsubish center plate, home made adapter, vectra release bearing, type 9 box and a scimitar se5 prop shaft....as I say, bodge artist.

I'm sure there are lot of people on here who readily give assistance, but if you need a cheap way to make a bodge work, gimmie a shout and i'll happilt have a think on a solution to your problem.

A Warm welcome to the club Pawl.

You sound like a handy guy to have around, shame you are not closer, but I'm sure your experience will be very welcome on the forum. :)

I used to be everywhere, but now I'm running my own studio, I only get evenings and sundays to myself....

But if any one needs anything made, I can always accomodate small pieces of work.

I currently have a mk3 tina in the garage, that was supposed to have been a quick blow over for a friend, but thats nigh on turned into a full restoration.

Also next year I'm embarking on a 1954 Ford F100 pick up project....I'll be making it straight and true then taking moulds from it so I can knock out the odd 1 or 2 fiberglass replicas on tubular steel rolling chassis'

I can mig, tig, spray, fiber glass and body filler...I also have a big hammer so can pretty much do any other job with that :)

I also have loads of contacts in and around, any thing from rechroming, Vacuum metalising, right down to making wooden medievil racks and dungeon furniature :)

Hello and welcome Pawl  :)

Any chance of you moving to Bristol?

You'd be a very useful chap to have as a neighbour!
