Well, it has begun. I went into DVLA in Bristol on Friday and booked the car in for it's inspection (I am getting them to issue a VIN so there are no 'issues'). My inspection is Tue 15th, they said they can issue me a VIN there and then.
Once i get that then it's time to submit the forms for the test! :o :o
I'm not travelling overseas for a wee while yet so hoping to get it tested within the next 2-3 weeks after VIN issue.
I'll let you know.......
Come on Brian, had yours tested yet? ;)
John
Good luck fella.
Hope it all goes ok.

sounds like you have it cracked
What time is yours, mine is 11:15 on the 15th
Pete

Well Pete, VIN tomorrow, test next week eh? lol!
You coming to mock us late comers Brian? ;) :)
'Late comers'! I wouldn't call you that. ;D
No not gonna be there, still waiting on a delivery of parts (3rd attempt) and I'm also changing front wheel bearings on the Bulldog today. :(
Good luck with the inspection both of you. Hope it stays dry. ::)

Well I now have a VIN! 8) 8) and pete's is one number off as he was next in line for the inspection :)
Just gonna nip down to my local garage (2 mins walk!) to use their stamps and get the number on the car.
I'm gonna get my application for IVA in today hopefully, chap at the DVLA reckons it's around 2 weeks waiting list maybe less, so fingers crossed :)
Time to get the obligatory pics on here and LCB for any last minute IVA recommendations.
Be nice if Pete got his test at the same time, you never know, we might end up with 1 digit out on the Reg plate too? :P
Forgot to say, Pete's is a nice looking car, shame he didn't fire up the V8 while we were there :)
JB
Well done JB & peterw 8)
