Title: Bristol Kit Car Club Christmas Meal
Post by: 'The Gaffer' on 14, October, 2010, 03:08:55 PM
Just thought it would be a good idea to have a get together over a Christmas meal this year if anyone is interested.

I'm open to any suggestions.

I have merged my old thread with Marks new one, it appears we may have a few interested in a meal.

Mark (Dixie) has booked a table for 12 people on the Sunday 5th December at 1pm at Hartleys the menu is varied, with a 3 bird roast of Turkey, Duck and Partridge. http://www.hartleyskitchen.co.uk/ (http://www.hartleyskitchen.co.uk/)

Rookery Farm, Binegar, Radstock, Avon BA3 4UL. Tel: 01749 841718

We just need those on the list to confirm and others to show an interest in coming along.

List so far...

Mark & Mich (Confirmed)
Tony and wife (Confirmed)
Kevin and wife. (Confirmed)
G & Toniq & Speedy J (Confirmed)
Casino and wife (Confirmed)
Hairy Santa & Wife (Confirmed)
Dave Bence (Confirmed)

Phil mentioned it a while back, having a club Christmas dinner.

While we were at Hartleys we booked a table for 12 people on the Sunday 5th December at 1pm.  the menu is varied, with a 3 bird roast of Turkey, Duck and Partridge.  I think the menu is on the Hartleys web site.  If you're up for it can you put your name down.  I will give it 2 weeks, if we dont get enough I will call him and alter numbers.

Agreed definately, easiest thing will be to email the menu link on the forum to everyone and ask then to post requirements on the forum within a set time. We can keep everything to hand then and easily pass on to PH.

I'm a bit concerned with them trying to manage 25 meals at the same time. (i.e.  kitchen staff numbers)

Last time we were out there he couldn't feed the three of us.......poor Dixie never got his at all. and we had to wait 25 mins::)    (not a criticism just an observation)

I would like to think he would have the staff and pre order menu in place in order to cope, if he cant then its the local take away ;D

Paul H did ask me if I was coming last week. Need to try and get a little extra for him to have on the menu for us (taste surprise coming).
