Title: Stuart Taylor Locoblade seat recomendations
Post by: tony.g on 24, October, 2010, 10:39:09 PM
Hi,
I have recently bought a STM Locoblade with padded bucket seats, which i can't get my back side in comfortably,I am 6'1 and 15 stone.
I am only going to use the car for track days so a fibreglass seat without padding is prefered, although i don't want to spend a fortune.
Does anyone have any recomendations?
Cheers
Tony

I've just ordered some JK composite seats.  They are £190/pair with a bit more money if you wish to put them on runners etc.

Despite what their website says, they come in a much greater range of sizes (widths) than it suggests.  My Westfield SE only has 380mm rather than the 390mm that you'd expect but he has accommodated that easily.  Best bet really is to call them and speak to Keith.

Top tip though, if you are going to order padding, go for the 4 piece at £20/seat.  He doesn't have a jig for fitting those so offered me a free upgrade to the 5 piece set which normally costs £60/seat.
