Don't know if anyone has seen that Lidl is selling an Arc welder for £35 from tomorrow! Think I'm gonna treat myself to a new toy ;)

Never tried arc welding, is it as difficult as they say?

Watched my neighbour doing some the other day and looked simple, so I'll let you know. Sure I can get some pointes from him as well.

One of the guys I work with bought one from there for £35 a few months ago, I assume its the same one. It certainly is good enough for a get out of trouble welder. I don't know how it would handle on a big job though. For £35 you can't really go wrong.
