Title: My Megablade is Quite Noisy - Any tips for quietening down?
Post by: madmarkymark on 14, May, 2011, 10:25:02 PM
Evening all,

I own a '92 engined Westfield Megablade and would love to do a few track days.  My only concern is noise level.  Does anyone have any experience of the car or top tips for checking the level / quietening it down a bit?

Thanks,

Mark

Re pack the silencer and go down to a trackday at a track and get them to test it.

My 98 blade noise tests at 99.8 and i have never been flagged for noise.

I did my first dry trackday last weekend, and these cars are awesom on the track even though they haven't got much top end speed.

But they make up for in in the corners!!!!!!!!!

Just had a noise test at Castle Coombe - I was 99.2 and 99.4 at 8000 rpm - Brilliant!!
