Title: The Ultimate Kit Car
Post by: Denzle on 17, July, 2011, 10:16:55 AM
Got to give it to this 25 year old....."Well Done"

No doubt you have seen this on your PC but worth a mention here.

(http://s1.postimage.org/1i120wo3o/001.jpg) (http://postimage.org/image/1i120wo3o/)

Hand made with a full Ford service history and on sale for £54,000  He car was based on a Ford Couger pick up and took only 9 months to build. The engine was a stock Ford 2.5Lt unit.  0-60....8.2sec with a top speed of 140mph

Mike Duke said of his ambitions creation. "I wanted a million dollar look, without the repair bills, Insurance and huge up front costs.

He added.  Nothing like the speed of a real Veyron, but driving around gets more comments than you could imagine.

I think this 25 year old done a fantastic job on a car that no one would ever dream of doing, no alone bulding this in 9 months.

Hats off to Mike Duke the ultimate car builder.... 8)..... 8)..... 8)

                                 Denzzzzz.... ;)

It looks the bo**icks but I think if I went to all that trouble with the bodywork I would have to drop in a decent engine. ::)
