Pop along to this event and do your bit for chari-dee while admiring 500 interesting cars.
A few of us attended this event last year. There were loads of interesting cars on show (despite the wet start to the day). Details here http://www.caringwithcars.com/ (http://www.caringwithcars.com/)
If you want to get into the show area you need to register on Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/calendar/event.asp?i=27501 (http://www.pistonheads.com/calendar/event.asp?i=27501)

Anyone any tips for anyone attending this year?
EDIT: Added to club calendar.
I didn't make last year as the weather looked crap. Quite happy to try this year.
I will try for this event, I really enjoyed last year.
Will be putting my name down as well, hoping for better weather this time. ::)

As im a member on pH i have already signed up not sure what car to take my kit car or my mgb gt.
I have put my name down so I will be going. Do you guys want to meet up somewhere on the way?
I'm booked for this. I'm number 332. Looks like there are only a few places left so get your name down soon if you want to come along.
Just Got in at 492, phew nearly forgot to book in on this one.
Hey Pete. Theres another Spectre R45 on the list at 498. :o

Dixie and myself are registered on Pistonheads......I think they lifted the 500 limit as i was accepted at 516!!! ::)
It appears that this event is still limited to 500 cars but people have dropped out so i'm now at 499 phew......i'm in!! :P
Who else is going from the club.....we could meet up and convoy in together maybe. ;)
I'm happy to meet up and convoy. Where and when do people want to meet? I'm in warmley, but happy to meet up around bristol somewhere.
I am up for meeting any suggestions on where and when? Trying to think of somewhere on route could meet in Tesco car park at Brislington as just off the A37, I did wonder about Aston Court but I have a funny feeling lots of speed bumps and you know how I hate those. Cheers Tony
Ive had to pull out got to much to do with the donor for my kit car before i pick it up next weekend.
We'll have to leave it to you Bristol boys for a meeting place as we don't know the area.......what about an all day pub car park???
How about we meet at the bottom entrance of Ashton Court (Kennel Lodge Road) near the Bower Ashton University just off the A369. I'm not entirely sure how long it will take to get to Caring With Cars from there so what time shall we meet?
Tony - There are no speed bumps on kennel road unless you go into Ashton courtso you should be ok. I don't think any of us like speed bumps!
I've just seen on the caring with cars website that there is a 10k run through bristol centre on sunday so dont go near there.
You can check out the10k route here: http://www.runbristol.com/10K/7/Race-information.aspx (http://www.runbristol.com/10K/7/Race-information.aspx)
Also, do we have to take anything or just tell them our number we got when we joined up?
You just turn up at the gate and give your PH forum name and they tick you off but you must be in the first 500 on the list.
Dixie and myself will be coming via the A37 and A370 through Whitchurch.......don't know how far that is from any of the suggested meet up points. ::)
Tony
Change of plan......sponsored 10k run through Whitchurch so we're going through the lanes. Hope to see a few of you there. ;)
Wont be able to make it after all, Bri got the gearbox back in, now I need auto electrician. Hope you all have a good day.
Hi Tony ( Paintman ) The 10 k run is in central Bristol ( not Whitchurch ).
We will be heading across country to meet up with others at Kennel Lodge Road ( Entry road to Ashton Court ) Nr Bower Ashton off A369.
We should be there at about 9:30 - as last year. Casino
Hi Pete/Alastair do you want to meet at McDonalds at Brislington ready to leave at 9.15, we can then meet up with the others at Kennel Lodge Road. Cheers Tony
Cool. I'l meet you at Maccy D's so we can leave there by 9.15 to meet the others at Kennel Lodge road. See you tomorrow! :D
Does anyone know if dogs are allowed on the site?
