Title: Stainless steel pipes
Post by: Moleman on 08, July, 2012, 08:43:27 PM
I'm thinking of replacing the steel coolant pipe on my westy as it is powdercoated & it must have some powdercoating in the inside of the pipes as ever since I have been doing afew trackdays I have been getting little black bits in the coolant bottle which i think is down to the coolant washing the powdercoat off the inside of the pipes as it's never been driven as it should before.
Unless someone out there thinks it may be something else?

So can anyone recomend someone who can supply stainless steel pipes & put a bend in them for me? or recomend another option you think would be better?

Try Infinity Exhausts out near Tormarton, they managed to cut and bend some stainless for me while I waited

I've used infinity for a transition piece on my exhaust.  While-u-wait service that time and good quality.
