Title: For sale R1 silencer
Post by: stevel on 02, February, 2013, 06:34:13 PM
Carbon sleeved R1 can, modified with straight 2" inlet.  Complete with mounting strap.  Ideal for noisy bike engines that cannot pass noise limits, cue Fullpint!!

Looking for £40.  Would need to be collected from Gloucester or I could drop off if i am in the area.

Any interest??

:D Will it be below the 105db limit? I will measure my outlet later to see if it will fit.
Whats the total length from inlet to the end of the can?

Hi Steve

I knew you would not resist!!  Cannot comment on the noise limit but lots on Locost site use them to get BEC's through noise tests.  No packing to replace as there are fixed baffle chambers inside.  I am positive that it will fit in place of your MK unit as i have just fitted the big 6" repackable MK unit in its place no problem and i think you have the small older style MK silencer now?

Inlet is 50 dia x 70 long, main body is 130 dia x 560 long, angled outlet is 160 long (although could be shorter if you remove the trim, but this helps to point fumes away from car).  Overall length inlet to tip is 800mm.

Left my vernier at work so I will measure my MK can (also at work) tomorrow. Currently I have a Westfield rear can on it.
Will let you know.
