After our day at Trackdevelopments I paid a visit to Protech today.
As some of you may know my ride height was a tad out!! Like higher at the front to that of the rear.
Turns out my springs were 9" with a rating of 350lb!!
So I purchased a pair of 8" springs rated at 200lb.. Protech were really nice and even took the old ones off and fitted the new ones.
Just fitted them to my Mk and,.,.,.,.,.,. :P 8) :P 8) :P :o :o :o :o
Next stop is a visit to Camber Dave to get the car set-up to suit these.
Its very low at the mo.. In fact sooooooooo low I may not get out that bump by my workshop :D :D :D
Looks so much better though with the front end sitting lower than the rear. Itching to take her out for a blast..
Here's a pic with my backy tin which is 100mm long.. Got to watch my sump now..
Will get better pics at the weekend if I get a chance..

Nice one Steve.
On my westy there is a lopped bar that goes around near the gearbox which always takes a battering. It's 65mm from the floor. My engine sump is 75mm from the floor & my seats are lowered so the bolts are 65mm when I'm sat in it. So when I hear the looped bar scrap the ground I know my bum is going to feel it. :o :P
You might find you will have the same problem once Dave has set yours up. ;D
Ps hope you are ok with measurements in mm instead of Backy tin measuremants? :P :P ;) :D
:D :D :D :D :D :D. I like inches mate.. After all tyres are measured in inches on the diameter :) :)
65mm (approx 2.5") is about what I have..
I've just chopped my sump, it's now 1.4 baccy tins deep. A gnats knacker from the gearbox level. Still might put a a nudge plate in front though. ;D
Your car will handle so much better once you get it set up :)
