Title: New member from Burnham on Sea
Post by: sweetshackdad on 26, August, 2013, 01:11:51 PM
Hi all
I'm Dave and I met a few of you yesterday on the Cheddar run, great run up and down the gorge twice. Built and running a MEV tR1ke that has now been on the road for approx 2 months. Looking forward to some more runs like yesterday but without the rain as I got soaked. See you all again soon.

Now that I like.. What's it like in the damp? With having the one drive wheel I bet that's awesome to drive..

Very like a gocart but you do have to watch the acceleration in first as easy to spin the rear. Was ok yesterday in the wet but weren't pushing it, find it awesome to drive so low and quick. Sure you'll get a ride if you ask. Dave

Hello Dave from another Dave, and welcome from another relative newbie!

If you do ever go out for an evening run and want somewhere to go, or fancy a companion when i get my car running reliably, (hopefully "soon") then drop me a msg as I'm only ~10 mins away!
