I should be there.  Might even get Paintman out of bed.  Stupot will be pissed from the night before so I doubt he will come.  Mustang Tony doing other stuff, not sure about Griff.

So providing I can get up and silly O'clock on a Sunday, I should make it.

Yup! I tape it every time it's on, and you get 3 BTCC races, a couple of supporting ones like formula ford and Carerra cup etc. and Looooooooaaaaaads of damn adverts!!  >:( >:( Every time they do a pit walk they nip off for another 5 minutes of adverts! It's always taping for around 7 1/2 hrs!! Thank God for fast-forward :D

we normally get there from 9am onwards. Normally leave there by 12ish midday.
In the summer time it's best to get there early but it starts getting quieter over the winter months so 9 onwards should be fine.  :)

Boys, don't forget that it's rememberance parade on the centre this weekend so access will be limited, ie past my workplace The Bridewell and possibly from Redcliffe roundabout.
Be warned and be prepared. Oh, and don't rev your engines, or sound your horn, but heartily chastise anyone who does at 11.00am like they did last year. Right in the middle of the 2 minute silence.  Some people have no sense of shame.

Rant over, have a good one and I hope the weather is kind as I for one will be stood on the centre paying my respects. :) :)

Hi chaps, what did any of you make of that pile of rusty bits and bolts. I tried to work out the drive train from the back and counted 4 sprocket chains??? It makes me wonder when us mob, take so much care  in assembling some beautiful motors that have to comply with the strictest of strict testing and then a heap like that  which never looked safe, yet alone roadworthy, or capable of having an MOT turns up  ??? ??? ???

Nice to meet some of you, my son had a good time looking at the cars around the square today, he is not one for getting up on the weekend, but it's nice when they show an interest in our hobbies,

Nice pictures Bri. Not sure I want to put my westy next to Ian's. It looks really tidy & might make mine look tatty.  ::) ;D

Glad you had a good time Robert, it will get alot busier when the warmer weather kicks in.

Hopefully I will be there next time.  :)

I went to Queen's Square.  I was amazed at the turnout for such a cold grey day.  Good to see everyone and see Ian's shiny new Westfield.

Yes it was a good meet for such a cold day.  Thanks for the nice comments guys - I'm pleased with my new steed.  It was an interesting drive at just above freezing - couldn't speak or grip anything for an hour after arriving home. :o

I'm very envious of all this talk of kitcar events, i'm bobbing around several hundred miles off the east coast of Africa.

Its not all bad, its been 30degC out here and no rain; not even clouds!

Got the car out then spotted the Arial hanging at 45% on the house

so spent a hour clambering up on the ridge sorting that out

all good fun in the sleet and rain ;D

What a bunch of wimps  :P :P :P :P :P I was at the square on Sunday from about 9.30 am till 11.00 so you can shake the hand of this nutter Phil. :-*

Have to admit though, my pal and I went in his Midget with the top up but it didn't actually rain all morning apart from a half hearted attempt for a few mins. 8) 8) 8)

Fair do's Sprint, 10 out of 10 for effort but it was raining where I was and I would have been driving an open topped bath tub.  I did do the last one , returning in sleet and lost the power to speak for a couple of hours.  Wifey says I should do it again! :)
