I have contacted Berkeley Castle about a club day out, park on the site, & have a day out there. A bit like our Dyrham park day out but hopefully without the rain.

We would park up here, right in front of the castle.
We would get the use of all the grounds, cafe etc. But they have said if we want to veiw the castle it would be the normal price £10 adult per adult & £5.50 per child. With this they will give us a free tour & depending on how big the group is we may even get a discount. :)
It would be on a sunday & we can pick which sunday we like.

Why not wait untill they have there classic car show.
I've done it and would again - it's a castle you could live in - comfortable and it is near too
I would be interested.....might even take the wife as long as we don't end up on the back of a brake-down trailer again like the Dyrham Park trip! ::) :-[

The first list was to see if it was worth the effort in booking this. As I had a good response I have been in contact with Berkeley Castle to see if they are ok with it & got a date that they will let us do it. :)
