Ok people it's the 2nd Sunday morning meet at Queens Square. 8)
It's one of those just turn up there in the morning & park on the Square. There will be other cars turning up a usual which range from classic cars, Hot rods, Lamborghini's to Tractors. So the earlier you get there the better.
If the weather is dry I will be heading to get there for 9am.
Who else is up for this? :)
I'll go if it is dry
Should see you all there :)
Yes.
Unfortunately Im going to miss this one again! Im working :( Havent been since January I don't think.
Is there breakfast on offer anywhere? Might be able to drag myself out at that hour if there is bacon and tea to be had.
I will be there unless it is lashing down
Ian

I believe the avenue cafe serves breakfast from 9am. There are probably more but I have only had lunch on the square :D

It did turn out to be a good morning. 8) Though my thought's go out to Alastair as his gearbox went bang on the way home. :'( Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

Oh dear, hope it's not too serious :(
Good luck fixing it Alastair :(
Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure it's quite serious, I've heard that noise before when I stripped teeth from two gears so its definitely a gearbox rebuild which means engine out.....again. I'm pretty good at it now with all the practice I've had. :(
The meet was good. Plenty of cars there and it was good to catch up with some of you guys.
This was an interesting motor. I've never seen a sales series 1 before and it attracted quite a bit of attention:

That is built on an old rover chassis not a series one chassis. It is full of detail and probably got more attention than any other car there.
There is a group of guy's who are based in Bristol with a communal garage called Area 52 which this car belongs to a member there

How does it steer......hasn't got a lot of steering lock before the wheels fowl the bodywork by the look of it? ::)
Not much room under those arches, maybe it's got slew brakes like a tank!
Hi all
Sorry I didn't get to chat to everyone, decided to bring my 5 month old and don't think he liked the cold
For this who missed it, I no longer have my cobra, sold and gone, I now have a mk1 escort
Hopefully u won't mind a non kit car in the club, although it is powered by a 2.0 16v red top engine :)
I'll stick some more pics up soon
