Title: New kit
Post by: benchmark51 on 09, August, 2015, 06:35:19 PM
Well, new to me anyway. I had mentioned it to a few people so here 'tis

Nice but I'm not sure about the lack of head protection if you roll it though.

I think you have to mod the body for that depending on the chassis you use and the style of roll bar/cage you prefer.

The " Thruxton" looks the biz, I reckon. Demonstrates the use of a cage as well. Would love to see how it all connects to the ' 7 ' chassis

Yeah it's like a modern-day track biased interpretation of a classic British sports car like the Austin Healey 3000 or AC Ace. Love it!

I've had a quick look at a build, with the body off and it looks fairly involved. Not just a quick conversion of a seven at all. Chassis extensions on the sides, longer wishbones, driveshafts ect. I would like to see an in depth breakdown of a build and parts required, but haven't found it yet.
Here's a few pics

I do like the look of that but not a lot of room with the roof on though.  :)
