It seems a lot on the face of it, but if you built a Zetec to that spec on a DIY basis it would cost a minimum of £6.5k inc. TB's and if you got someone to do the work it would be ££££'s

So all in all, a bit of a bargain really ;)

Agreed that is a high spec - the price is in Euros so divide by 1.5 for £ and it has only done 3,000 miles.

Long way to go to pick it up!

Unfortunately the price is in sterling, I checked. If it was in euros I would have bought it already.

I guess the engine is worth a few bob as you say but it still seems like a lot of dough for a nearly 20 year old car to me!

Cossie turbo engines are getting more and more rare and very sought after (and it's fairly high specced at 320+bhp) but I am sure my 1996 Fury is not worth anywhere near that amount! If it is then it's for sale!!  ;D
