Blimey, that ticker is manic,  :o,  good job that button toggles it off.
Any chance to make it wider Phil ? for longer messages I find it a bit tough on my poor old vision and brain

Agreed, its quite processor hungry too. Its gone :'(

I have tried a news fader but cant get it to work. Will keep trying.

Haha, I added a news ticker. (Scrolling text like you see on Sky News etc) It was too small and made us go dizzy so I got rid of it.

I have put a news block on the home page now that changes everytime you refresh the page. Lots of other forum stuff added on the homepage too now :)

This site for one thing.

And recording the data from your car/ bike as you go without taking a laptop with you for another, but if you don't track not massively useful.

QT ? Not used that since version 3. Was a bit to icky for me, plus they charge!

Hmm - time to set up a "C++ is better than Java, no assembler is best" geek flame wars thread  ;D
