IF we're coming from Warminster, Frome, Trowbridge etc ....we could meet up with you lot farther on, or we will be going backwards.

Would it be a good idea for those in this position to PM me and then we could find a suitable place to meet you?

Might be able to finally meet some of you! My partners parents have a pub in Pymore which is about a mile from Bridport. (Huge car park, home cooked food and real ales) lol. I think we're popping over to the pub that weekend so will try and pop down. my build is still moving slowly but surely but keep coming across little problems

Any one living over my neck of the woods(Shirehampton) the Portway is shut on Sunday, parts of Hotwells and Anchor Road-half marathon (why run when you can drive a kit car!) I take it that the meeting place is in the lay by at the bottom of the hill out of Whitchurch, hope to see you there.

No! but I need to get it sorted and it's gonna cost loads to fix :'( and I need that one on the road. Till then the Bulldog has to be my everyday car not the fun car, though with this weather I can't complain to much there.

Dixie and myself will me up with you on the trafic lights by the Charlton Inn in Shepton at 10ish.  We will be able to see you from the car park and should be able to join in behind you.

The Inn is on the lights where the A361 from Frome joins the A37.

   See ya.    Tony

Is any one going to meet up outside of Whitchurch in the lay by? If not, will you please let me know. I might have to change my plans, if I am the only one going to be there. My car is really looking sad, multi coloured bonnet at the moment, but I still want to do this run. This will be my last long run out. I got to get on prepping the car.

12.45pm, still pi**ing down in Shepton.  Going to call it a day and do something else.
Gunna take the wife and mother in law out to Cadbury garden centre to earn some brownie points.

I am going to put a link on the site about going to Gurston Down Hill Climb next Sunday (12th).  It is Shaftsbury side of Salisbury, near Fovant Badges.  I went last year, it was a great day.  There is access to the pits and drivers, plus a very nice canteen/resturant serving roast lunches etc.  Entrance fee is about £10.  Well worth it.

Was in bridport in my Tintop as still building kit car so headed over but didn't see any sing of kit cars (now know why). As said previously if you want I can arrange something at the pub in Bridport. Its a large car park and beer garden. It's my partners parents pub, if anyone interested let me know. Be good to meet some of you and see the cars you drive. My build is still progressing but not as fast as I hoped it would be

Must have missed the conversations about spin outs (having a fag out the back). Coming from the suspension bridge towards the downs, bit of a staggered junction - bridge valley rd which is shut-straight across,up a slight hill with a right hand bend-thats where it all happened, felt the back go,tried to accelerate out of it,but went all the way round.Don't want that to happen again! Had to stop and get out, for a smoke!
