That can't be real, I've seen them crash onto land in the movies and they go for miles!!! 

Those guys earn their living cutting up old ships and selling the scrap, the gippoes would love that place!!

I've seen this before. it is what they do to beech them so they can cut them up for scrap.
Must be great fun to do though. I bet every Captain would love to do this to a ship at some point?
