Zetec Engine to Type 9 Gearbox ~ Starter

Can Anyone confirm if its the lucas LRS543 starter motor which fits with no modifications?

Hi Rossco, Before you spend any cash, check with Retro Ford, Tel 01536 747978. Im having a zetec fitted to a type 9 at the moment and the flywheel had to be changed, due to spacing. I cant be to sure of the facts at the moment as I only got a message on Friday, will follow up on Monday and find out.

I have had a silvertoo zetec I'm replacing with blacktop this week. I have a type 9. I can't comment on the part number but am using the following,

Zetec, lightened pinto RW flywheel, pinto Clutch, spigot baring, type 9 gearbox and pinto starter with no mods. all got from donor sierra and aftere 5 years working a treat
