MEV Rocket for sale £7500

Hello.

I have decided to sell my MEV Rocket Kit Car - I have put the car on Piston Heads in the MEV part of the Kit Car area -





This is a MEV Rocket kit car provided by Mills Extreme Vehicles. First built in 2009 but fully rebuilt winter 2013/2014 with the following modifications by Road Track Race (the current Rocket manufacturers)
Re-powder coated in blue
Latest rear suspension geometry
Infinitely adjustable rear wishbones
Latest single hoop roll over bar
Latest tapered mud guard design in orange
Latest engine cover with air inlet in orange

I also added in this rebuild
Blue quick release 3" racing harnesses
Lightweight racing battery
Composite (dibond) floor & bulkheads in blue

The car has 1.6l Zetec (Sigma) aluminum engine with bike carbs and lightweight alternator.
Wilwood front brakes with Mintex racing pads and slotted disks
Focus rear calipers with Mintex racing pads and slotted & drilled disks
Adjustable brake balance
Digidash 2 electronic dashboard including a GPS lap timer  
Magajolt ECU including cables and lap top - I'll include a lap top with a serial connector that works with the ECU
Orange fibreglass slim fit adjustable seats - waterproof & very supportive
Alloy wheels with Toyo Proxis tyres
Removable tow bar bracket to allow track day equipment to be towed

MOT until 30-04-2016

The car weighs 497kg plus fuel & driver.  Genuinely one of the lightest car engined rockets ever built.  There are many details of the original build and ownership on the MEV Forum - mevowners proboards site.  Search for Mattsmev.

I have owned and enjoyed this car for 6 years with numerous track days, summer cruising on local roads, several trips to Le Mans, France and even Holland.  The growing owners group has a really good owners forum with excellent technical help.  They have an active presence at all kit car shows and at many track days.  The car is located in North Wiltshire, about 6 miles from Castle Combe Circuit, please PM me or drop me an email on mwingrave70 at gmail dot com, (but written with punctuation - I'm hoping spelling the at and the dot prevents spammers picking it up automatically) to arrange a viewing

Thanks guys.  I can't make it to Stoneleigh this year, where it would have been useful to get some viewings.  But despite that I would hope to get plenty of interest.  Thanks for your kind comments.
