Winter Project for the Ultima

I delivered the car to Charles Dunn who specialises in Ultimas for a list of things to be done.

The major part is about cooling as it is a bit of a pain currently as you have to manage the heat and on hot days in traffic it is impossible.  So it is having a big Cooper radiator fitted from the 1020 bhp Evo along with the new hex grills which let 50 more air through.

The exhaust is getting coated inside and out to try and take some of the heat directly out the back of the car.

We are also getting the electrics sorted as they currently drain the battery and the aircon and wipers are on the same circuit and it blows the fuse if you have both on.  We might get the traction control connected up.

At the same time it is in the upholsterers as he is redoing the cabin in Alcantara so it can get wet without damage.  We are taking out the I solution on the fire wall at the rear of the cab so there is more room in the cabin and the seats dropped to give more room.

The upholstery will be done by the end of the month and mechanical and electrical work by Christmas.  Very excited to have it as a useable tool in any weather and hopefully looking good. :D
