Title: Hello All
Post by: YellaBelly on 05, May, 2009, 04:50:38 PM
Hi all, just cruisin' for 7esque stuff and found the site :)

I am building (slowly) a McSorley +442 Locost, Pinto 1.6 with type 9 5-speed box.

Started originally in 2005, then stalled (divorce) until last July, and am now almost at the rolling chassis stage after many Ums and Ers regarding suspension things.

All fired up again now after a wonderful Sunday at Stoneleigh ;D

Went to Stafford last year and Exeter but neither are a patch on Coventry.

Anyhow, glad I found the site, might get to meet some guys a bit nearer home (Brinkworth, Chippenham)

Exeter this year is my target show for build complete, may be a bit ambitious as no bits yet in garage. Having been to Stoneleigh I'm guessing Exeter is much smaller, still worth going though ?

Hi Richard,

I'd certainly go to the Exeter show again, it's just that after going to Stonleigh I think any venue would be hard pushed to beat it :)

I went to Donington about 3 years ago and that was pretty good too, so I assume it is still up there with the better shows.
