Thanks everyone. Managed to get the only dry/sunny (but very cold) day so far this year but as the car is still in bits no kit car action (other than a bit of tinkering)

Did get out though - went to Avebury in the tin top. Great place for a gentle walk on a crisp clear morning. Then lunch in Coles in Marlborough http://colesrestaurant.co.uk/ (http://colesrestaurant.co.uk/) really good place and not too pricey for foody food - highly recommended. Managed a couple of hours of tinkering in the afternoon.

Sounds like may it could be a place for a little run out in the kit when it warms up.  :)

Yeah - would be good. There is something quite special about that stone circle, without sounding too new agey!! It is also a popular place for bikers to meet up in the summer - used to  turn up there on mine as there always seemed to be someone to have a chat to on a Sunday morning before the tourists got up.

Happy Birthday belatedly.

I like the idea of the stone circle.  I passed it a while back in the Westie and thought we need to do that as a run-out some time.

Thanks of the Restaurant tip - its on the list!
