Title: Seat belt extensions
Post by: pompeyal on 20, January, 2016, 10:26:31 AM
Has anyone bought a seat belt extension, I am trying to find a shop that sells them which is not online, its so my son can fit a childs seat in his PT cruiser, you would think a yank car would have seat belts long enough to fit the largest of people but no, they are too short to fit a childs seat.

What they have doesn't extend the belts, you can get them on Ebay but its having to wait for delivery and all that, the baby arrived 7 weeks early and he wants one now, kids can't wait for anything....lol

A lot of ebay sellers will offer next day or 24 hour delivery for a couple of quid extra, other than that a little patience is free. ;)

Just had another look on Ebay, for his car they all come from America with £18+ postage. It will probably be cheaper to buy a complete seat belt which is long enough and change it out.

All sorted, thanks for you comments, apparently he has managed to get it fitted without an extension....
