Title: TVR. Is this good value or something else?
Post by: Crunchie Gears on 17, February, 2016, 08:33:19 AM
Just seen this on pistonheads:

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/tvr/sagaris/tvr-sagaris-4-0-2dr/5009994

It is 18k cheaper and with half the mileage.  No mention of Cat D?

But it's bogey green! Last time I saw that colour it was dangling out of a little boy's nose :-X

Could be full of rust in the chassis, always a problem with any TVR. No mention of a MOT.
I've also noticed it is listed as having an engine size of 4cc, now that is going to struggle with a 0-60 time.

hahahaha

I thought the colour was dodgy tbh.

but with an engine from a model shop it is not the worst of its problems.

TVR's were always reliable unless you tried to start of drive them!

Saw a couple of those at the TVR meeting a few of us went to last year up near Kemble (I think it was?), have to say they are fab looking machines but usually come in amazing colour schemes. That colour is a bit drab for a Sagaris. I have some pics somewhere of the one I saw, I will try and dig them out and post them
