The Satnav said turn left, so that's what he, (I take it was a he) did. I remember a driver doing this in Frome some years ago.

A taxi driver took an instruction to turn left and went into the river. For months after the taxi firm were getting calls for the river trip. ;D
SatNavs are good aren't they....
Mine counts down - at 300 yards it says 300 yards and at 200 yards it says 200 hundred yards and a 100 yards it says 100 yards until you are just past you junction when it says 0 yards.
Once it was 30 yards out on its turn left instruction and for the next 12 miles I was on the wrong side of the river!

I got into the habit of zooming out, when it wants to take me off the main road, to see if it is sending me down some farm track to cut off a corner.
