'The Gaffer'

Sorry guys, going to have to pull out of this one, just realised my insurance has expired ::)

Have a good day and good luck with the weather - Metcheck for BS27 reports showers from 09.00 - 14.59 Then snow showers from 15.00 - 17:59 :o

Why not come along in the tin top Phil? That's what I'm doing. I'll just park up out of the way and walk the gorge. I'm sure u'll get a passenger seat if u were to leave ur car at meeting point 1. I'll give u a lift back if u want (I'm not going to heartless though).

Casino

I've got a spare seat if anyone's interested.  First come first served.  And that includes you mark g.
Offer to be posted before 9:00.

Hi all,
It was good to see some familiar faces today, shame the turnout wasn't quite the same as last years meet but still a worthwhile trip none the less.

Some of you may or may not be aware but I'm trying to start a photography company where I provide many different services.  If you're interested my website address is www.yourphotographicservices.co.uk

I was up at the gorge early this morning and getting shots of the cars arriving.  I've uploaded small images onto my Flickr page.  I'm selling the images for £5 each and will be received via email.  For BKCC members I'll discount them to £3 each.
The full res images are 4288x2848 pixels.

If anyone is interested in buying an image please email me on info@yourphotographicservices.co.uk
I accept payment either via paypal or via bank transfer

Some good pictures there mark I wish I was there but was far too hungover to continplate  driving from the dinner night last night I wouldn't mind but didn't even drink that much must be getting old

Sumov8

Had to turn up in a tin top as I had the wife, sister in law and children on board, nice number of cars turned out before weather went dark, Low on last year from what I hear so the limit appears to have worked for Piston Heads but not for the viewers.

;D

'Mendip Wurzel'

Pleasant day, but cold. Harleys was nice and warm. We had 7 cars in attendance. Rain held off for most of the time until I got a few hundred yards from home and then it hail stoned, couldn't see where I was going and the dog crawled down into the footwell to escape.

paintman

Enjoyed the drive except for the brief "wetting" on the way there......tried the theory of driving faster to stay dry.  (doesn't work does it!) ???

Must admit I was a bit disappointed after last year......not many cars and no atmosphere, if they held it later in the year again it would have been more popular and a lot warmer!

Not many people hung around 'cause it was so cold.   I was a lot warmer driving with the roof down than walking around the Gorge. :(

On the positive side, we had a nice breakfast at Hartley's and the company was good.....nice to see Walnutt out and about again in the old Ferrari lookalike.....always looks nice, (no, not Walnutt lol!!) :-[

Can't wait for some nice Spring weather.....bring it on!! :D

    Tony

'The Gaffer'

Glad all went well, shame it was a little quiet there :( And cold :(.

As Tony says, roll on the spring!! This winter seems to be going on forever.

Nice pics Mark, did anyone else get any?

I took some video footage using the cheap £13 car cameras that quite a few are purchasing. I though the picture quality was good, especially seeing it was taken through my windscreen. The footage is a bit boring, mainly the backend of Tonys (Paintmans) kit car.

WALNUT

For 13 quid, I got to get myself one of those.
