Wanted .... Sierra Type 9 5 speed gearbox

Hi all...

I am looking for a 5 speed Type 9 box from a Sierra for my Westfield rebuild.

Based in Forest of Dean, but happy to travel for the right box.

If it comes with the long first, this would be a bonus, but not essential.

They are getting rare but you can get reconditioned from Burton power.  OR perhaps this might interest you - the Quaiffe Sequential version of the type 9!

You could give BGH Geartech a try. They are not cheap, but turn out some great boxes with all the proper mods to give long service, even with hard track use. They might be worth a call as they gave me a good trade in allowance against one of their reconditioned units.

Sounds interesting    Be a few pounds to refurb as well.... Saxo box was £2k to repair when we lost 2nd and 3rd and sent it to Quaife for repair. !!!!

May give them a call tomorrow, as may find that the Tran-x 4 speed is worth a few quid against a 5 speed....

Will also speak to these tomorrow, as think the Saxo has sold ...
