Being tested and registered must be worth £1k easy. New owner would have that to do if it's for road use. I would be looking for one already tested ect.

According to the supplier there were a few loan covers needed for test, so they would need to be made to help it through. They guy says he is selling because of ill health, must be a kick in the teeth to get so far through and then have to sell up

No there were covers you could borrow to copy which would assist in the iva.
