I don't have one, but have you had a look at youtube? You might find a method there. Try the link below.

If not there are loads of others dealing with that sort of thing. You might be lucky.

might have to go the adaptor route, but I havn't a VHs machine anymore

I have the computer hardware and software so that's not the prob, just need something to play the tapes on  :)

Hi Pete, I just turned my junk cupboard upside down and the good news is I found the old Sony HandyCam camcorder (although not the power/charger lead and the battery is stone dead). The bad news is its not VHS-C, its Mini-DV. IIRC the VHC-C ones were analogue and Mini-DV are digital so probably no good to you?

We seem to have a duplicate thread here Pete - I have answered on the other one that a tape coping service might be what you need

Use one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorised-VHS-C-Camcorder-tapes-Adaptor/dp/B000LAWKMK, I have one somewhere but I am in Portsmouth, just put your camcorder tape in and you can play on a VHS player or you can get them on ebay here http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/vhs-c-adapter
