Title: V8 loss of revs
Post by: Cob68 on 05, April, 2011, 09:17:26 PM
Hi, finally got the car back on the road, looking good but engine not running well. First short run after 6 months of not running was fine, on the second run started to lose revs on acceleration, idle also not smooth. First thought is fuel filter so will check that at the weekend as thinking could be fuel starvation, as had the same before, if not will need to investigate further. I will post a new picture at the weekend. Roof also now sprayed and believe it or not wife suggested to keep in spare bedroom, normally everything for car has to go in the garage.

Looking forward to seeing the new roof but guessing I wont for a while as it probably only going on in bad weather :)

Good luck with the engine probs, lets hope it's something simple.
