As it is only the crown wheel and pinion that is different then i don't see why not providing both diffs are 7" or both 7.5"(I can't think of anything off the top of my head)

Yes you can swap these around, but they need setting up well. Steve Perks or BGH will do it and there is a local lad, whose name escapes me that does them as well. He did one for a mate of mine but swapped the sierra LSD for a plate type set up for sprinting. None of these are cheap but will do a great job
