Head lamp distance

Hi all, Does anyone have any recent experience of the IVA?. My question is that in the IVA manual it states that the dipped beam should be "Max distance from side 400mm". O.K. so from the outer edge of the vehicle (outer edge of cycle wings) to the inner edge of the illuminated part of the headlamp ie the glass should be max 400mm thats how i interperate it. Problem is the inner edge of the lamps as supplied by GBS for the 2B is 490mm from the edge of the wings. Now do they measure each vehicles headlamps when being IVA'd or because all 2B's are the same pass it anyway or do I extend the lamp brackets outward by 90mm or get hold of some smaller headlamps. Anyone with any recent experiences of this ???
