Knackered differential!

Think my diff. has "given up the ghost"!

What I thought was a worn half-shaft now seams to be a knackered differential.....great!!

Has anyone got a Sierra 3.62 diff. kicking around the garage or know of one?

I was going to get mine rebuilt but no-one wants to do it, saying they will have trouble getting the parts or one company agreed to do it for £450!!

Anyone got any ideas ...... suppose I could try Ebay. ::)

There will be loads on E-Bay.

Tony.

Found this one on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/sierra-differential-diff-7inch-westfield-kit-car-/140573242728?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20bad17568

This one is for a Sierra with disc brakes so no good and too far away.

Dave H's sounds good but i'm not clever enough to put it together i fear even if it is the right one. :-[

I've got a 3.62 diff in very good condiition that came out of my Westfield before I had a chance to kill it. It is not together as I used the LSD part. Case, cogs, open etc. All there.

Your welcome to it

David H

Phil Jones will probably put it together for an hours work.
