Rover V8 front pulley

This is going to be probably just for info, if anyone is running an old style Rover V8 engine ie SD1 circa mid 1970's the front crankshaft pulley (thats the bolt on bit the belt runs on, not the main assy that has the vibration damper on) is not available anymore as a new item. However the Range Rover version without PAS can be used as it has the same inner dia and fixing PCD but is slightly smaller in outer dia. Therefore a shorter fan belt may be needed. Also the water pump and alternator won't be running so fast. Available from Rimmer Bros.

Just a thought does anyone else know of different parts that can be used in place of non obtainable items, could be quite a usefull topic in its self.
