What fun

Well  what fun this is, after over 12 months of my stupid handbrake not working , basically since last MOT, decided might be a good idea to fix it for my MOT on Friday this week, or it will fail. I am very used to not having a handbrake and decided dispite what people say the jag XJ6/12 handbrakes never worked and would love to speak to the designer as maybe he was drunk at the time and thought this will be good for a laugh. Anyway the stupid cable snapped, so not a happy chappy, there is a slim chance I can get a replacement for Friday, but knowing my luck no chance. This is after a high of fitting the electronic ignition I waited 9 months to do because I chickened out, do not know why I worried as that worked out an easy job. At least MOT not due until 1st of May, that will teach me to book early.

Handbrake cables can be a pain, but most of the time, its fiddly, not difficult. Though I dont know, the jag setup, so I cant say for sure.

I only hope you get the parts in time, and they fit easily.
