Making a Roof

As the title really, I want to make a cheapish roof for my locost.  I am thinking about the surrey style roof from the windscreen to the roll bar (as per GBS zero).  Has any one made one, what are the basic steps, where do you get the material from etc.

All advice welcomed.

Cheers,

Rosco....

Richard

Sounds like the weather got to you  ;D

Not really wanting to send you to another forum, however, the only thing I've seen on a creative roof is here(from my bookmark collection ;) ) ;

That looks as good as any, would have prefered black bungies though.

You could also ask http://www.l-s-d.co.uk/ they make accessories for kit cars.

I like the look of that one Rich. Think I could be making one for my 7 as well.

I thought it was a quite practical and simple one to have in back pocket, think rear roll bar needs to be straight line to make it work easily. Should go away into a small space too.

Hey Rosco... could do with having a look at that bootlid/cover you've got on your 7 as I want to do something similar with mine... any pics?  ;D
