Zetec Silvertop sump welding in baffles

Right,
From earlier thread on smoking zetec, I have now sorced a silver top 2.0 (getting rare as hens teath), and looking to start stripping down the old one. Sump on old engine is shortened but not baffled so I am looking at fitting baffles this time, any one know a good place to spot weld these in when I have made them, it will be aluminium to alloy welding.
