What to do with what remains of the donor

Last time I did a build, I bought the donor off a mate who new a scrappy. When I had finished taking all the bits off, he took what was left back to the scrappy. I don't live near him any more.

My question is, what do you do with whats left of the donor ?

Sell it to a scrap merchant (or pay him to collect it).
or
Cut it up and take it to the local tip ? (it will go in the scrap metal container, so will get recycled).

Should I cut out and keep the old VIN plate ?

Plus - is there any official documentation ? Just got the new V5, no mention on there of scrapping.

Thanks

Bulldog Bri

I had the last doner weighed in, got £50 for it  ;D

Best to keep hold of any documents you've got from the old car and even the old vin plate might be able to transfer it over (not sure on that)
