New fuel pump and filter, advice needed.

Hi, just looking for some advise. I need a need fuel pump and I guess new fuel filter, but really not sure which one to go for or the size of pipe?

Would this be the correct one, or do I need more power pressure.
At the moment it has the standard Sierra pump...

i've got a tiger cat with a 2.0 silvertop zetec on throttle bodies...
what size pipe should i have and what pump pressure/flow rate.

You will need 8mm (OD) Fuel lines to your engine and so the output spigot on your pump should be 8mm.  A ribbed spigot is good so that you can use high torque stainless jubilee clips to make a perfect seal.  The input side should be 12mm for the low pressure input and the filter cartridge should precede the pump to make sure no crud enters it.  Avoid cheap filters they are not the worth the risk because they can suck flat inside and starve fuel.

The pump you have chose looks adequate but if you can afford more then a competition pump offer more pressure and flow rate.  You should be looking for a peak pressure well above 3 psi and a flow rate of about 3 or more times you track consumption rate of around 45 litres per hour.  This is the pump I have and it has been brilliant:

I think you already have the regulator which ensures constant even flow. 

You will need 8mm fuel line  http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/8mm-copper-fuel-line and the ends will need to be swaged. Somebody here will volunteer to help with that I am sure.

The pipe must be clipped every 8" or 200mm in either a plastic fuel clip, a P clip (cheap) or a rubber lines stainless clips (very expensive).  I can lend you a pipe bender for making the bends and will give you a had if you need it.
