Hi All
Do you know of anywhere local-ish i can take my BEC that has the capabilities of dynoing and tuning it..

Cheers

'The Gaffer'

Dont know any bike engine tuners locally I'm afraid.

If you can get the BEC up to Andy Bates at AB performance in Suffolk, I'm sure he will squeeze every last HP out of it.
Racing BECs is their business.

I get the impression that most bike guys get a bit confused when they see a bike engine in a car and likewise a car mechanic. Problem is most bike shops that have a rolling road, its designed for a bike and is way too small for a car.

Then you get car rolling roads, but they dont know much about bike engines.

If you find one that does both, let me know.

i'd be deff by time i got there.

Nice one, just off the M4 just past Reading.

Andy Bates knows his stuff though, but these guys look ok.

Doh.. :D

It's to far away for me to drive it. + i dont hace access to a trailer or a licence to toe one. (it is really loud inside, just about managed to drive it from whitchurch to combe with a bit of a ringing in my head when i got there)
i may have found somewhere just over the bridge to wales and even closser than Newport.
Just need to get in contact with them as the do bike and quads and fit and tune power commanders.

bloke has built bikes for tt and raced in the tt

deals mainly with injection bikes.

A collegue has spoke to them and they sound interested so i need to do my own leg work on them now.

No Probs, AB are a fair distance agreed ;D

Where is the noise coming from, is it exhaust? I assume you have a fire wall between you and the engine?

Got any pics of the car, it sounds like fun.

Let us know how you get on with your research.

YZFMINI

From out side it so quet.
The exhaust is not very noisy at all still sounds mini ish.
The noise is just the transmision and chain which sits just infront of where the passenger and drivers feet are.
iv got a bit of sound proffing in but it just holds in the damp.
so some of it has had to go for the winter.
Im thinking of getting a proper bike exhaust fitted and i need to get myself a power commander- then i could get the quick shifter. as an extra later.

If the weather is better at the weekend i will unwrap it take it fo a drive and take some pics iv been needing to take for a while..

Ill keep you in the loop with my reaserch.. there has got to be somewhere. just needs even to be a grasstracker tuner,  theres bound to be some down here, as somerset have a grasstrack league..
