Certificate of destruction

Finally managed to drop the engine out of the donor ! wooo hoo ! It's on a little trolly, still in the engine bay. Just have to lift the body and extract the engine and trolley now...

All this means that I have finally managed to remove all the oily bits from the donor that I need (and several I don't that shall appear on ebay).

Now what do I do ? I've found a couple of local places that say they take junkers & scrap and will issue a "certificate of destruction". Do I need one of these to register my car ? If I do get one, do I still get to keep the V5 to prove the age of the donor ?

I've removed both VIN plates from the donor, hope the scrappie won't mind...
